CPhI Worldwide 2007
CPhI Worldwide is a unique opportunity to network with the pharmaceutical community, and meet key decisionmakers from around the world in one place, covering every sector of the pharmaceutical pipeline. Together with ICSE, which focuses on contract services and outsourcing, and P-MEC, the Pharmaceutical Machinery and Equipment show, the exhibition attracts more that 1,500 exhibitors and in excess of 22,000 attendees.

GATC ’07

The Dept of Genetic Engineering is hosting a national level symposium called GATC 'O7 on the 17 and 18 of October. The prime agenda on this symposium is to have guest lectures, selected performers and young scholars at their creative best. The initiative has been put forward to inspire young researchers and help them gain state-of- the art knowledge in various fields.

GATC aims to bring together some of the best minds in the area of Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology including experts from academia, industry and young researchers. In its launch year, GATC aims to set the benchmark for symposiums in the area of biotechnology and genetics.

NBAS National level conference

National Biological Association for Students (NBAS) actively supports various student activities such as Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and other related academic events based on Life Sciences. NBAS is organizing National level conference on the topic "Conservation of Endangered Species and Biotechnology" on the 19th and 20th of October 2007 at Chennai. The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Dr. H. Devraj, Director University of Madras, Guindy Campus who is the chief guest for the event and the Guest of Honour is Dr. I.S. Dhua, chairman of Department of Botany, Panjab University. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory function is Dr. Ranjit Daniels, Director, Care Earth and the Guest of Honour for the function is Dr.G.Gangi Reddy, Managing Director, Technology Business Incubator, Government of India Around 500 students from various universities all over India are expected to attend the conference along with eminent scientists.
